And so it begins - U2 meet Medjugorje

My daughter has told me on many occasions to "Dream big or go home". Well in this case I have decided to dream big.  A blogger who is known as Blue Cross wrote a wonderful article about Medjugorje finally getting street names. For long as can be remembered Medjugorje was a place where the streets had no name. The blogger who runs the well known site Crown of Stars tied this news to the U2 song titled "Where the Streets Have No Name"  .. I will spare the reader the details but suffice it to say this led to contemplating the idea of U2 performing at Medjugorje - preferably at the youth festival.

The idea of the possibility of hearing U2 perform "Where the streets have no name"  at Medjugorje instantly captivated some people.
I am a stock broker (wealth adviser to the high minded)  by profession. I was trained early on to "Ask for the order" So we are going to ask.. Who we are going to ask is not entirely clear right now :)  but we are working on that.

"Where the Streets Have No Name"

I want to run
I want to hide
I want to tear down the walls
That hold me inside
I want to reach out
And touch the flame
Where the streets have no name

I want to feel sunlight on my face
I see the dust cloud disappear
Without a trace
I want to take shelter from the poison rain
Where the streets have no name

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We're still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do

The city's aflood
And our love turns to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Trampled in dust
I'll show you a place
High on a desert plain
Where the streets have no name

Where the streets have no name
Where the streets have no name
We're still building
Then burning down love
Burning down love
And when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do
Our love turns to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Oh, and I see love
See our love turn to rust
We're beaten and blown by the wind
Blown by the wind
Oh, when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do
